Digital Tattoos
By Google searching "Hannah Marschall" I was able to locate my Facebook page which, even though has privacy settings, still shows what my job position is, my education, and profile pictures. I was also able to locate my Linkedin, YouTube, Rails Libraries (which I realized I have to update), Pinterest accounts. Pinterest is open to the public and shows my interests and hobbies.
My search differed when I added my middle initial "Hannah E Marschall". This search brought up only results relating to my address, relatives, and phone number. For example White Pages shows my age, only 3 out of 5 of my siblings, and city where I live.
Next I searched Instant Checkmate. The report was pretty much the same as the White Pages but it did link my sister which white pages did not but it still did not list my eldest brother Jon. This may be because he is my half brother with a different last name and 15 years my senior and moved down south when he was 18 years old.
Spokeo was more impressive as it showed an aerial view of where I live.
I too was not spooked by the information I found online. Everything found was public record and not something that I would feel that I would want hidden. I was surprised at how much information I found on here about me thought it still wasn't that much compared to others. I think that this just enforces the idea of how important it is to teach about digital tattoos and that the internet really it is permanent.

When I looked the images results they were very interesting as well. I found my profile picture from my Linkedin account, a photo of me that was posted on my friends wedding website when I was her bridesmaid, photos from a local newspaper of me conducting a drawing class program at my work, a still of an Instagram video I took at my work of bagpipe playing music, and a slew of pins I have on Pinterest. Many people would probably not realize that those pictures are related to me but since I recognize them I can explain the connection. Finally there is also a picture of a balloon performer, Holly Nagel, in the results. This is because I once wrote a testimonial for her performance that she posted on her website with my name.

The variety of information you found on your Google Image search was very interesting! It's important to note that not only what you write about yourself but what you say about others (your Holly Nagel connection) will also be a part of your digital tattoo. That can let you know what type of person you are when it comes to considering others.
